Overview

As a Sales Manager at Moneythor, you will be responsible for driving new sales and expanding our customer base in the North African region. Based in Cairo, Egypt, you will focus on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building a strong pipeline of qualified leads, and closing deals to achieve sales targets. This is an individual contributor role where you will leverage your networking skills, strategic partnerships, and deep understanding of the Moneythor solution to translate its value into compelling propositions for potential customers.


Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the North African region to expand Moneythor’s customer base.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads through proactive outbound prospecting, networking, and leveraging marketing initiatives.
  • Sales Execution: Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, clearly articulating the value of Moneythor’s solutions. Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Networking & Partnerships: Develop and leverage a strong network of industry contacts and strategic partnerships to generate leads and create new business opportunities.
  • Consultative Selling: Gain a deep understanding of the Moneythor solution and effectively tailor its pitch and benefits into value propositions to the specific needs of potential customers.
  • Market Representation: Represent Moneythor at industry events, conferences, and webinars, delivering presentations and engaging with prospects to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including pre-sales, marketing, and product, to ensure a cohesive approach to new business development and to tailor solutions to meet prospect needs.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the company’s CRM system (Salesforce). Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Market Understanding: Have a deep understanding of the North African market, including cultural nuances and business practices, to effectively engage with prospects and tailor sales strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in enterprise sales, with a focus on new business development in the banking and fintech sector.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to build and leverage relationships to generate leads and close deals.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex solutions and translate them into clear, value-driven propositions for potential customers.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of the North African banking market and experience selling in the region.
